It is my great pleasure to invite you to join us at the 20th Congress of the International Society of Craniofacial Surgery in Seattle, Washington on September 5 through 8, 2023. It will be our first in person meeting in four years, and like me, I am sure you are eager to join with friends and colleagues from around the world to share information – and simply enjoy being together again.

The week will start with our traditional pre-congress symposium on Tuesday, September 5, followed by three days of plenary sessions, panels, and invited speakers that will engage participants from Plastic Surgery, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Neurosurgery, Orthodontics, Otolaryngology, Anesthesiology, and Pediatrics. The focus of the program will be on interdisciplinary care of the complex craniofacial patient and how we can plan to “shoot for the stars” in the planning for the future of craniofacial surgery.

Our meeting venue will be at the new Hyatt Regency Hotel in the center of Seattle, surrounded by the scenic beauty of Puget Sound and the great Pacific Northwest of the United States. Seattle is full of exciting experiences including the spectacular Chihuly Glass Museum, the unique Museum of Pop Culture, and the fascinating Pike Place Market. The Gala Dinner on Thursday will take place at the Boeing Museum of Flight as we dine under the wings of the world’s fastest airplane, the Lockheed M-21 Blackbird. Plan for extra time to
explore the region before or after the Congress. Take a day trip to the prehistoric rain forests of the Olympic peninsula or to the base of 15,000-foot Mount Rainier. Schedule a multi-day cruise to Alaska or a short hydrofoil ride to quaint Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
Seattle is accessible with daily arrivals at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), located only 14 miles
from the center of the city, on 31 airlines servicing 91 non-stop domestic and 28 international destinations.
We expect a high attendance at this first in-person ISCFS event in four years, so book your hotel and Gala Dinner tickets early to avoid disappointment.

The registration link will be available in December.
Seattle and the Pacific Northwest are looking forward to welcoming you!
